Freezing our asses off!

So, Des went down the street to babysit the 'heathens' again today, and, after wattching the weather the night before, i thought we would have some fun, load everyone up and head to the park! Really? What shit for brains told me it would be 80 out today? we reached the park at 945 a.m. to a blistering 40 degrees. 7 kids, lips turning blue, but sliding like it was 90 out! After an hour and a half of that, we said to hell with it, and came home to make tacos and Rian's dirty rice:)  Plans for tomorrow? A trip to Arcadia, to see Pops, the Round Barn, Rt 66 auto museum and John, and maybe picnic at Arcadia lake. Let's hope the weather men can get something right for once, because if we head that direction just so i end up freezing half my ass off.....ok, maybe there would be an upside! Something i should have started LONG ago!

For those of you who know me, bear with this:) For those of you who don't, let me fill you in.....I am THE Domestic Godess here in central Oklahoma, with five kids, a busy, hardworking husband, and a crapload of animals. Ralph works in the oilfield, therefore, most of the responsibility is mine, beating the kids, making sure they attend school, feeding, bathing, etc. as well as keeping our 'zoo' up and running smoothly. Let me start by saying we have more animals than anyone reallyneeds, from our lionhead rabbit 'Stewie', Max and Ruby, the ferrets, Goldi, the goldfish, Matilda the rat, Roscoe the duck, Alex the pitbull, Johnny Cocksville the rooster and his 2 hens...oh yeah, and Dora and Diego, the cockatiels. Now, for the kids, Ralph Jr (Deuce), who is 2, Angellee, who is 3, Justin is 12, Destiny is 14 and Rian-Ashley, who is 17. Rian has recently moved in with her Dad and I from Denver and seems to bbe adjusting very well....but there's always some teenage drama over something! Today was the first official day of Spring Break. Destiny is babysitting the heathens up the street, while the rest of us embarked on our house cleaning spree....really? because i don't think ANYONE cleans on the weekends when Dad is home....Holy Shit! This  place was a mess! I am also a photographer on the side, trying to get ready for Easter and Spring sessions, which is not an easy task! So, now that you know alittle about MY life, give me a little slack when you see me, these gray hairs were erned damnit!! lol!
